Thanks to you and other MBAOver30.com readers everywhere, we’ve just hit the 150,000 view mark after just over 13 months of the blog’s existence.
This past January, I was elated to learn about the blog’s first 63,000 views, most popular posts, most active contributors and its demographic when WordPress published its 2012 annual report.
Today, however, I am just floored and humbled. I’m glad that my not-so-politically- correct, often too-honest-for-my-own-good collection of blog posts has been worthy of the time of so many bright and talented MBA applicants from all over the world.
In particular, I’d like to thank Poets and Quants, Beat the GMAT, ClearAdmit and Cheetarah1980 for having contributed the most to the blog’s popularity (next to Google searches – BTW – congrats again Cheetarah on the Google internship! Can a brother get some FREE.99 Adwords coupons?). I’d also like to send a special shout out to Angie, Cheetarah1980, OhDenny, bschool2013 and Hswm for having been the most active contributors to blog discussions when I was getting things off the ground and Gaurav, healthcare2mba and Rachel for their more recent contributions.
FREE MBA ESSAY HELP for a Few Lucky Viewers
In honor of this gangsterazz milestone, I’d like to hook up not 1, not 2, but 7 of my readers who are applying to the world’s top business programs’ classes of 2016 with a FREE application strategy and 1 FREE set of MBA essays to pay forward some of the help that I have gotten from the folks that I’ve just mentioned along with the tens of thousands of you that have supported MBAOver30.com during the past 13 months.
In order to “throw your name in the hat” for the freebies, go here and fill out your profile information anytime between today, 6/20/13 and Sunday, 6/23/13 at 11:59:59 PM, US Pacific Standard Time (PST). Only profiles received within this time window will be considered. I will choose the lucky winners as follows:
- 2 URMs (women of all ethnicities included) will be chosen.
- 1 Indian male from the IT field will be chosen (because boy, do you have stiff competition!).
- 1 White male from financial services will be chosen (same for you!).
- 1 Asian (either gender) applicant will be chosen (you too!).
- 2 General Winners will be chosen regardless of background, ethnicity or any other factors.
No matter who you are, everyone has at least 2 (if not 3 or 4) chances to get some free help for this app season during the next month or so while I am happily FUNEMPLOYED while transitioning into life at Wharton. Entrants will be chosen via lottery. No politics/ judgement will be involved based on applicants’ “chances” due to GMAT scores, schools, etc in the process of choosing winners.
Good luck to all and thanks SO MUCH for supporting me and my blog during the past year and change. Thanks for rolling with me thus far.

Wow congratulations!!! You well deserve this success as we applicants have benefited and been encourages enormously from your sharing.
To current mba hopefuls, I would take this opportunity and get help from mr. Over 30 right away. Last December I was lucky enough to get him looking at my Booth ppt. Honestly, his comments, although short, were very rich and inspiring. He’s so candid and supporting. We never even communicated outside of this blog! If I were taken off of Wharton waitlist I would have chance to share my mba journey with him. It would surely be so nice!
